2017 End of Year Info

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for allowing me to lead this organization for a time.  I had wonderful help (thanks Jeff, Brooks, and others!).  This league has been a part of my life for almost 20 years and I’ve grateful to have had this much fun doing something I love so much.  I will miss seeing you each year, but I look forward to this league’s transition into the next generation.


OK… sappy stuff aside.  A couple things to note:

  1. Our new fearless leader is Allison Shuey.  She is currently studying sports management and will be an excellent leader for us next year.  Brooks Tomazin will be assisting where needed.
  2. We had a few churches not represented at the tournament setup and will need to pay the extra amount. You should be made aware of this before you register next year.
  3. Below are the final season results along with tournament winners.  Shirts will be getting out to those teams as soon as they are made.  I’m being told that they should be done this week.
  4. If you have any questions, the account “joe@lccvolleyball” will no longer work at the end of this year.  Please send your emails to and Allison should be able to get them there.

2017 Pre-Season Info

Sorry we’re getting this information out a few weeks later than usual.  Please take some time to read the following info as there are some changes.

The 2017 summer season is just around the corner.  We’ve now opened the registration on the website.  Please know that all registrations are due by May 1.  I will send out drafts during the week after and have final schedules done by May 6 as May 11 will be the first game.
Here are a few things you need to know:

  1. All registrations are $45/team.  If payment hasn’t been received by May 1, you will not be included in the schedule.  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make exceptions due to the amount of change it would cause to add an additional team.  Please send along a proof of liability insurance from your church as well as part of your registration.
  2. Make sure you talk to your coordinator for last year to get your teams registered.  If you aren’t sure, talk to them first, and then email me if you cannot get hold of them (to find out if they registered yet or not).
  3. The tournament is set for Aug 12.  We are waiting to hear from Summit International School of Ministry to confirm that date.  Mark your calendars now (and look for a good pop up canopy sale)
  4. Updated rules for division can be found here.
  5. Updates from last year’s meeting:
    1. For the tournament setup, each church not represented to help will be charged an additional $10/team on the next year’s registration.  We have had very little help and the workload has been put on a few, when it could be made light with one person from each church.
    2. Instead of requiring the home team to provide drinks & a snack at each game, we are only asking for drinks now.  Snacks are most certainly welcome should you decide to go the extra mile.
    3. We plan to have shirts for both season champs and tournament champs.  If you are a graphic designer, we would welcome you designing some shirts for us!  Contact Joe if you’re able to help.
    4. If anyone wants to rent the league’s nets, we will do $15/ weekend or $25/ month.  We have 8 available (if my memory is correct)
    5. We will try to put an email list together this year for just the coordinators.
    6. As of now, Joe is still in charge, but we are in the works of handing things off.  If you’d be interested in helping the new person, please contact us.

If you know of someone who would like to join the league, feel free to forward this email to them.  The only requirement is that their church is in Lebanon County.

2016 May Update

I need to offer an apology.  It’s come to my attention that somewhere in the transition from 2014 to 2015, I inadvertently left out the rules for how many players can be on the court.  I have added them back in and updated the necessary files.

For those in the AA Division, we now have a court location for the team that was TBD, so please take note of that.
